How should I maintain this necklace?
1. Avoid placing it in a ventilated, humid, high temperature, dry place to avoid odor. Do not soak in water or
expose to the sun. Winters in the north are dry and cold, so be sure to apply more maintenance oil to
avoid wind cracks caused by the temperature and air.（You can use olive oil）
2. If it is dirty, use a cotton brush to clean it. Do not use water, detergent or chemical cleaning agents.
3. If you do not wear it for a long time, apply maintenance oil on cotton cloth and store it in a sealed bag.
4. Frequently wipe it with a hand or cotton cloth. The oily substances in the sandalwood will mix with the dust in the air to
block the brown pores of the sandalwood and form a pulp, making the sandalwood more shiny and beautiful, and
slowing down the damage of the sandalwood to the dryness and humidity of the environment. It blocks the rapid
evaporation of oil, which is why sandalwood items are still smooth even after hundreds of years.

Basically the same as in the picture. It didn’t have much luster when I first bought it, but after rubbing it with some olive oil, it really shined.
