How do children deal with used hand sanitizer bottles or finished beverage bottles at home? Let’s wash these unnecessary empty bottles together and make a cute sheep night light!
*Materials:
Plastic bottles, cotton, black cardboard, pencils, scissors, popsicles, alcohol glue (or double-sided tape), light strings, sheep’s hole eyes(small size)
Steps:
a. Cut the popsicle into four parts and stick them on the bottle, paint them black
b. Stick the popsicles on the bottle
c. Roll the cotton into small balls, stick double-sided tape or alcohol glue on the bottle, then stick the cotton on it, leaving a little blank space for sticking the paper spring and the lamb head.
d. Put the light string into the bottle, leave the switch outside, cover the lid, stick it with glue, and then use cotton to hide the bottle cap and switch.
e. Draw the lamb’s head on cardboard, cut it out, and glue on the eyes.
f. Cut out a long strip from the cardboard. First fold the long strip of paper into a 90° right angle as shown, then fold the upper vertical strip of paper downward, then fold the right strip of paper to the left, and then repeat these two steps. , you can fold out a spring as shown on the right, then use double-sided tape to paste the joints of the paper strips, and finally cut off the excess part.
g. Glue the paper spring and the lamb’s head to the blank space previously reserved.
h. Turn on the light. The sheep night light is complete.
Tips:
*The switch is hidden around the mouth of the bottle and connected to the lamb’s head.
*Lamb‘s hole eyes can be purchased yourself, or you can cut out the plastic foil used to package pills and use them instead.
*Plastic bottles used for snack jars will work.
*There is no need to put the cap back on the bottle.
