Materials:
Transparent plastic ball (translucent lid), string lights, acrylic pen, round cardboard, double-sided tape
Steps:
a. First, cut the cardboard into a ring shape according to the size of the transparent semicircular lid, and then use an acrylic marker (color pen) to draw a pattern on the cardboard;
b. Take the two circular covers and draw planet patterns inside;
c. Put the light string into the sphere, then use double-sided tape to merge the two hemispheres into a whole ball, and finally merge the circular paper ring and the planet and you’re done!
Tips:
*The diameter of the ball is about 10cm
*There are no holes in plastic balls
*Do the light strings need to be glued inside? It can be glued in or not glued in.
*How does this light come on? There are string lights sold with switches.
*Where can I find clear plastic balls?Milk tea lid, buy acrylic ball by yourself etc…
*Why is it so easy for acrylic pens to be scratched off on this kind of hard plastic, and it’s so hard to dry?
It may have something to do with the brand of acrylic pen. Use a pen that dries immediately. The soft-tipped pen becomes powdery when dry and needs to be drawn inside the inner shell.
