How to make a rose window into a bookmark

Material preparation:

1. PVC transparent plastic cardboard
2. Transparent paint (transparent model hand-painted paint, or ordinary oil-based marker)
3. Black cardboard
4. Use a thin marker pen (black or gold is acceptable) for drawing lines.

Production steps:

1. Choose a pattern you like, adjust the size and print it out as a draft (people with hand-drawing skills can design it by themselves, which will give them a greater sense of accomplishment)
2. Cover the original with PVC transparent plastic cardboard and trace it with a fine marker.
3. Fill the edged pattern with your favorite color.
4. Leave a certain distance along the edge of the pattern, cut it out, use black cardboard to make a frame of the right size, and seal the edge with transparent tape on the back.

Reminder:

1. The strokes don’t need to be too smooth. There are small fold lines that feel more like antique stained glass.
2. The coloring of PVC cardboard is easy to be uneven. It is recommended to apply a thin layer and then apply another layer after drying to make it more beautiful.
3. The amount of hand-painted paint is very economical and can be used for a long time.
