This simple DIY rainbow tassel wreath can be used to decorate a girl’s bedroom, or her daughter’s playroom or bedroom, because after all, what girl can say no to pink or rainbow colors?
DIY rainbow tassel garland is a very easy craft, the production cost and time cost are super low, and you can complete it with a little free time. Even non-crafters can get it done by glancing at the crafting instructions below.
Materials needed to make a tassel wreath (picture 2):
1⃣Yarn(s) of different colors
2⃣Scissors
3⃣Embroidery hoop (18cm)
4⃣Cardboard or anything flat to wrap yarn around to make tassels (18 to 18.5 cm)
❓How to make a colorful tassel wreath:
Step 1: Use wool to wrap the cardboard. Depending on the thickness of the wool, wrap it around the cardboard 23-25 times, as shown in Figure 3;
Step 2: Take out the wrapped wool from the cardboard, as shown in Figure 4;
Step 3: Cut two pieces of wool of the same color in advance, tie one of them in the middle, and then cut the two ends of the wool, as shown in Figures 5 and 6;
Step 4: Wrap the tied wool around the embroidery hoop, as shown in Figure 7;
Step 5: Use another piece of wool that has been cut in advance to tie the wool tassel on the hoop, as shown in Figure 8;
Step 6: Repeat the previous operation and continue to make tassels, as shown in Figure 9, and you’re done!
This example used 8 colors of yarn to create this DIY rainbow tassel wreath. There are 3 tassels in each color, for a total of 24 tassels all around.
